With its attractive roaming packages, the new Vodafone Passport promises a hassle-free holiday experience for its 2.5 million strong customer base. These new rates easily fit into the consumers’ budget and make their holidays more enjoyable.
The Passport promises that all Vodafone subscribers, for just £4.99 per day, can relaxingly use a maximum of 25MB of data on their cell phones when they are abroad. This amount, if calculated as charge per MB, comes down to 20p. Consumers using data exceeding 25MB will be charged an extra £4.99.

The granular pricing model for usage less than 1 MB is another feature of the service. A Vodafone consumer pays on a per kb basis if he logs in, checks his email while he is in some other country, and makes a data usage of less than 1MB. Estimates show that approximately 100 KB is required to perform the brief task of reading and responding to an email.
